One finished gift!

Michele inspired me to create an Amish puzzle ball for Oliver for Christmas. He can't read yet so I'm pretty safe to post this:) Kirsten has already witnessed me putting it together so it's no big secret to her either!  So I have ONE finished gift! Yay me!  I have several other projects to work on so I'm off to get busy sewing.  If you would like to make a puzzle ball yourself you can check out these tutorials here and here.  Have a happy day!

Christmas...

“And in despair, I bowed my head: ‘There is no peace on earth,’ I said. for hate is strong, and mocks the song of peace on earth, good will to men. Then pealed the bells more loud and deep: ‘God is not dead, nor doth He sleep; the wrong shall fail, the right prevail, with peace on earth, good will to men!’” – H.W. Longfellow

This quote is just beautiful, and full of Faith.  Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas

"Christmas isn’t about perfection. It’s celebrating the One who saved us from our impossible need to be perfect."
This was on the Simple Mom ( http://simplemom.net/ ) blog today.  I LOVE IT...just what I needed when the time to finish everything is getting short.

Gingerbread House

We bought Gingerbread House parts from the bakery at Reams and last night was construction night. Nathan was at Kirsten's house working on his super secret project, so the girls and Thayne worked on the house. I was happy to watch and snap some pics.  They had a great time and I think it turned out lovely! When I find out what the super secret project is I'll post a picture.
